The screenshot workaround is popular for a reason
It is fast.
You see a confirmation number, insurance card, booking detail, membership code, or document page. Screenshot. Done.
For one-off reference, that can be exactly enough.
Photos is more searchable than people give it credit for
On iPhone, Photos can search using dates, places, people, categories, captions, and text. So the problem is not that screenshots are completely lost in a black hole.
The problem is that a photo library has a much bigger job than being your document system.
When Photos and screenshots are the better choice
Use a screenshot when the information is temporary, visual, or unlikely to matter again after a short period.
A boarding detail for today. A receipt you only need for a return. A one-off confirmation screen.
No need to organize everything just because you can.
When Panza is the better choice
Use Panza when the item keeps coming back.
An insurance number. A passport copy. A vehicle document. A membership card. Something another family member may need later.
Instead of searching through a mixed photo library, the useful detail can sit on a recognizable card while the original stays attached.
Capture is not the same as deciding what matters
A screenshot says: keep this image.
Panza asks a slightly different question: is this important enough that future-you should find and use it without reconstructing where it came from?
That smaller, deliberate set is the point.
