Welcome to Panza. These Terms of Service explain the rules for using the Panza mobile app and related services.
Please read them carefully. By creating an account, using the app, or accessing Panza, you agree to these Terms.

In these Terms, “Panza”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Dani Does Design Kft. as the provider of the Panza service.
2. What Panza is
Panza is a structured document vault. It helps you store, organize, preview, and share documents and related structured information.
Panza may include document upload, image and PDF storage, document previews, card-based document summaries, OCR-assisted text extraction, AI-assisted suggestions, tags and custom fields, expiry-related information, role-based sharing, and subscription-based feature limits.
Panza is designed to help you organize information. It is not a government verification service, legal adviser, financial adviser, medical adviser, identity verification provider, insurance adviser, tax adviser, or certified archival storage service.
3. Eligibility
You may use Panza only if you can legally enter into these Terms.
You must not use Panza if you are under 13 years old, local law requires a higher age for consent to online services and you do not meet that requirement or have valid parental or guardian consent, you are prohibited from using the service under applicable law, your account has previously been suspended or terminated for misuse, or you are using the service on behalf of someone else without permission.
If you use Panza on behalf of a company, family, organization, or other person, you confirm that you have authority to do so.
4. Your account
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in methods secure. You agree to provide accurate account information, keep your account credentials secure, not share your login credentials with others, notify us if you believe your account has been compromised, and use Panza only in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.
You are responsible for activity that happens through your account unless it results from our failure to use reasonable security measures.
5. License to use Panza
Subject to these Terms and applicable App Store rules, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Panza on devices that you own or control.
You do not acquire ownership of Panza, our software, our brand, or our intellectual property.
6. Your documents and content
You retain ownership of the documents, images, fields, tags, notes, and other content you upload or create in Panza.
By using Panza, you give us a limited permission to host, store, copy, process, display, transmit, and otherwise use your content only as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the reliability and safety of the service.
This permission allows us to store your uploaded files, generate document previews, extract text or structured fields, sync your data between devices, show your cards and fields in the app, process shared access permissions, back up and protect the service, and troubleshoot support and technical issues.
This permission does not give us ownership of your documents. It does not allow us to sell your documents or use them to train AI models.
7. Your responsibilities for content
You are responsible for the content you upload, store, edit, and share through Panza.
You agree that you will not upload, store, or share content if you do not have the right to store or share it, it violates someone else's privacy, intellectual property, or legal rights, it is illegal or used to support illegal activity, it contains malware or harmful code, it is used for fraud, impersonation, harassment, abuse, or exploitation, or it violates these Terms or applicable law.
Panza is often used for sensitive documents. Please think carefully before sharing documents with others. You are responsible for choosing who receives access and which role they receive.
8. Keep original copies
Panza is an organization tool. It should not be treated as your only backup or the only place where important documents exist.
We take reasonable steps to protect your data, but no digital service is perfect. You should keep original copies or independent backups of important, official, irreplaceable, or legally required documents.
We are not responsible for consequences that result from your failure to keep original copies of important documents, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
9. OCR and AI-assisted features
Panza may use OCR and AI-assisted features to help extract information from documents, suggest titles, suggest fields, detect dates, or organize information. These features are provided for convenience only.
You understand that OCR can misread text, AI-generated suggestions can be inaccurate or incomplete, date detection and expiry extraction can be wrong, document type or title suggestions can be wrong, and extracted fields may require manual correction.
You are responsible for reviewing and verifying important information before relying on it.
Panza does not provide legal, financial, medical, tax, insurance, immigration, government, or professional advice. Do not rely on Panza as the sole source of truth for official or high-stakes decisions.
10. Sharing and roles
Panza may allow you to share items with other users. Sharing is role-based. Available roles may include Owner, Writer, and Viewer.
The Owner controls the item and may be able to edit, share, revoke access, or delete it. A Writer may be able to edit certain document metadata or fields. A Viewer may be able to view the item without editing it.
Panza uses reference-based sharing. This means a shared user receives access to the same canonical item, not an independent copy created by Panza. If an Owner revokes access, the shared user may lose access. If an Owner deletes an item, access may be removed for everyone the item was shared with.
If you share content, you are responsible for ensuring that the recipient has permission to see it.
11. Subscriptions and payments
Panza may offer free and paid plans. Paid features may include higher limits, OCR, AI-assisted features, sharing, reminders, or other functionality.
On iOS, subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Apple through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple acts as the merchant of record and handles payment processing, billing, refunds, and cancellation mechanics according to Apple's terms and policies.
If you purchase a subscription through Apple, your payment is charged by Apple, subscription renewal is managed by Apple, cancellation must be handled through your Apple account settings, refunds are handled by Apple unless Apple directs otherwise, and access to paid features depends on valid entitlement information.
We may change plan names, features, limits, or pricing from time to time. Changes will apply according to applicable law and platform rules.
If your subscription expires, is cancelled, or cannot be renewed, your account may move to a free plan or limited state. Your existing data may remain stored, but creation of new items, OCR, AI, sharing, or other features may be limited.
12. Free plan and limits
Panza may offer a free plan with limits. Limits may apply to number of documents, number of shared users, OCR usage, AI-assisted features, reminders, storage, and other current or future features.
We may adjust free and paid limits over time. We will try to avoid changes that unfairly disrupt existing users, but we cannot guarantee that all limits or features will remain unchanged forever.
13. App Store and platform terms
If you download Panza from the Apple App Store or use it through TestFlight, Apple's terms and policies also apply.
Apple is not responsible for providing support for Panza. Support is provided by us at support@panzaapp.com.
To the extent required by Apple, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce these Terms against you in relation to your use of the app on Apple platforms.
You may not use, export, or re-export Panza except as authorized by applicable law, including applicable export control and sanctions laws.
14. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Panza. You must not access or use the service unlawfully, attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems, interfere with the service, reverse engineer or decompile except where allowed by law, bypass plan limits or security controls, use automated systems to abuse the service, upload malware, harass or exploit others, use Panza for fraud or identity misuse, resell or commercially exploit the service without permission, or remove legal notices.
We may investigate suspected misuse and take appropriate action.
15. Service availability
We work to keep Panza reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device, operating system, network, or configuration.
The service may be unavailable because of maintenance, app updates, backend outages, third-party provider issues, network problems, security incidents, platform review or distribution issues, or events outside our reasonable control.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of Panza if needed for security, reliability, legal compliance, business reasons, or product development.
16. Beta, TestFlight, and experimental features
Some versions of Panza may be provided through TestFlight, beta programs, or early access channels. Beta versions may contain bugs, incomplete features, unstable behavior, data loss risks, or temporary functionality. You should not rely on a beta version as your sole storage location for important documents.
We may change or remove beta features at any time.
17. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data. You can read it at https://panzaapp.com/privacy.
By using Panza, you acknowledge that we process personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.
18. Intellectual property
Panza, including the app design, brand, logo, software, user interface, visual style, documentation, and related materials, is owned by Dani Does Design Kft. or its licensors.
You may use Panza only as allowed by these Terms. These Terms do not give you ownership of Panza, our software, our brand, or our intellectual property.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works from Panza except as allowed by law or with our written permission.
19. Feedback
If you send us feedback, ideas, suggestions, bug reports, or feature requests, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation to you. We appreciate feedback, but we are not required to implement any suggestion.
20. Account suspension or termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Panza if you violate these Terms, create legal, security, or operational risk, harm other users or the service, we are required to do so by law or platform rules, or your account is involved in fraud, abuse, or unauthorized activity.
Where reasonable, we will try to provide notice. In urgent cases, we may act without notice. You may stop using Panza at any time. You may request account deletion by using the app feature where available or by contacting support@panzaapp.com.
21. Data after termination
If your account is terminated or deleted, your access to Panza may stop and your data may be deleted according to our Privacy Policy and applicable law. Some data may remain for limited periods in backups, logs, billing records, security records, or legally required records.
If you shared items with others, termination or deletion may affect their access depending on your role and the ownership model.
22. Disclaimers
Panza is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent allowed by law.
We do not guarantee that Panza will meet all your needs, extracted information will be accurate, AI suggestions will be correct, documents will always be readable or recoverable, the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, every bug will be fixed, or Panza is suitable for every legal, professional, or archival purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
23. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Dani Does Design Kft. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data, documents, or opportunities.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability for claims relating to Panza will be limited to the amount you paid to us for Panza during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or EUR 50 if you used only the free version.
This limitation does not apply where liability cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death, personal injury, or mandatory consumer rights.
24. Indemnity
To the extent allowed by law, and only where applicable to your use of the service, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Dani Does Design Kft. from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of Panza, violation of these Terms, content you upload or share, violation of another person's rights, or unlawful use of the service.
This does not limit your rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
25. Changes to Panza
We may update Panza from time to time. Updates may add, change, or remove features. We may also need to change the service to comply with law, platform requirements, security needs, technical constraints, or product strategy.
26. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice where appropriate, such as in the app, by email, or on the website.
If you continue using Panza after updated Terms take effect, you agree to the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you should stop using Panza and may request account deletion.
27. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also have rights under the mandatory laws of your country of residence, and you may be able to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence where required by mandatory law.
28. Disputes
If you have a problem with Panza, please contact us first at support@panzaapp.com. We will try to resolve the issue fairly and quickly.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be handled by the competent courts under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights you may have as a consumer.
29. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the Terms will remain in effect.
30. No waiver
If we do not enforce a part of these Terms immediately, that does not mean we waive our right to enforce it later.
31. Assignment
You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our permission.
We may transfer our rights or obligations as part of a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, provided your rights remain protected under applicable law.
